A2A Agent Integration

Connect your AI agents, approved tools and real business workflows so they can collaborate without losing the boundaries, permissions and human judgement that make the system trustworthy.

THE SHORT VERSION

Agents that can work together, not just answer.

A2A (Agent2Agent) is an open protocol for agents that need to discover one another, delegate work, exchange updates and return useful results. We help you decide where that capability is valuable, then connect it to the systems your people already use.

We can work with an agent you already have, build a new agent endpoint, or connect a Hermes agent and its skills to a carefully governed customer workflow.

01 · COLLABORATE

Connect agents

Let a customer-facing agent hand a specialist task to a research, operations, support or review agent without exposing every internal tool or prompt.

Useful for: enquiries, triage, research, drafting and handoffs.

02 · EQUIP

Connect tools with MCP

MCP gives an agent a controlled way to use approved tools, documents, APIs and data sources. We separate information access from actions that change the world.

Useful for: CRM, booking, knowledge, email and internal systems.

03 · GOVERN

Keep people in control

Every connection needs clear identity, permissions, data boundaries, stopping rules and an escalation path when judgement or consent matters.

Useful for: privacy, audit trails and safe adoption.

HOW THE PIECES FIT

One system, several clear layers.

MCPAgents access approved tools and information.
Human controlPeople approve, review and remain accountable.

WHAT AIGENCY CAN OFFER

Services for organisations starting or scaling agent systems.

We do not sell a protocol in isolation. We sell a safe path from “we have agents” to “our agents can do useful work together”.

START HERE

A2A readiness audit

We map your existing agents, workflows, tools and data, then identify the first useful collaboration instead of forcing a large technology programme.

  • Current-system map
  • Use-case shortlist
  • Risk and permission review
  • Practical implementation plan

BUILD & CONNECT

A2A integration build

We create or connect an A2A client or server so your agent can discover a partner agent, delegate defined tasks and receive structured results.

  • Agent Card and capability design
  • Endpoint and task flow
  • Authentication and authorisation
  • Testing and handover

TOOLS & DATA

MCP tool integration

We connect agents to approved business systems through well-defined tools and resources, with read-only access separated from actions that need approval.

  • Tool and data inventory
  • API or MCP server connection
  • Least-privilege access
  • Failure and fallback paths

TRUST LAYER

Responsible agent controls

We make the system understandable: who the agent is, what it can access, where it must stop, what it records and how a person takes control.

  • Identity and access boundaries
  • Human approval checkpoints
  • Privacy and disclosure review
  • Audit and incident guidance

HERMES & CAPABILITIES

Skills library mapping

If you use Hermes Agents—or have a growing collection of internal agent skills—we can organise capabilities into a useful, permissioned library that other agents can call safely.

  • Skill inventory and naming
  • Inputs, outputs and examples
  • Ownership and versioning
  • Safe skill boundaries

ONGOING SUPPORT

Managed agent operations

Agent systems change. We can review behaviour, update capability descriptions, add approved tools, investigate failed tasks and help your team stay confident.

  • Monitoring and review
  • Version and permission updates
  • New agent onboarding
  • Human-supervised improvements

HERMES AGENTS · SKILLS · CAPABILITY DESIGN

What is a skills library?

A skills library is a structured catalogue of things an agent knows how to do. Each skill should have a clear purpose, inputs, outputs, examples, owner, version and permission boundary. That makes it easier for an agent—or a person supervising the agent—to understand what is available.

It is not a magic cupboard of unrestricted abilities. A useful library is curated. Skills should be discoverable, testable and easy to revoke. A research skill may be read-only; a booking skill may need confirmation; a customer-data skill may require a specific identity and access level.

Three layers, three jobs.

LayerWhat it answersWhat we can deliver
A2ACan one agent communicate and delegate work to another?Agent Cards, clients, servers, task flows and secure interoperability.
MCPCan an agent use the tools and information it needs?MCP servers, tool schemas, API connections and permission boundaries.
AEO/GEOCan people, search systems and answer engines understand and trust the organisation?Clear content, structured service information, agent discoverability and machine-readable identity.

OUR APPROACH

Start with one useful handoff.

  1. Understand the work and the people responsible for it.
  2. Choose one low-risk, measurable collaboration.
  3. Define the agent identity, tools, data and stopping rules.
  4. Build, test and document the connection.
  5. Review the result with the humans who use it.

WHAT WE WILL NOT DO

We will not connect everything just because we can.

We will not expose customer records to an agent without a reason, give an agent broad write access without a control, or describe a prototype as autonomous when a person is still required to approve the important decision.

Useful integration should reduce pressure, not create a new system to worry about.
